Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational consumer company. Our client is currently seeking a Head of Finance to lead the finance function in Indonesia. The position is based in South Jakarta and plays a key role in supporting business growth and financial governance within a lean and dynamic organization. This role represents the most senior finance position in Indonesia, working closely with the Country leadership team while reporting directly to the Regional Finance Lead for Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end finance function for the Indonesia business, including financial planning, reporting, control, and business partnering.
  • Act as the key finance leader in the country, providing strategic financial insights to support commercial and operational decision-making.
  • Partner closely with the Country Manager and regional leadership to drive financial performance and support business growth.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial performance monitoring for the Indonesia market.
  • Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and internal controls in alignment with regional and corporate standards.
  • Work closely with regional finance teams and shared service functions to ensure effective finance operations and reporting.
  • Provide financial leadership in a lean organization, requiring a hands-on and agile approach.
  • Support management in identifying business opportunities, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening financial discipline.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with exposure to senior roles such as Finance Lead, Senior Finance Manager, or Head of Finance.
  • Strong experience within consumer-driven industries.
  • Prior experience in multinational companies is highly preferred.
  • Strong business partnering capability with commercial and country leadership teams.
  • Agile, hands-on, and comfortable operating in lean organizations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across regional and global teams.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
