Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a growing multinational pharmaceutical company based in Makati City. Our highly respected client is seeking a Human Resource Manager. This is a work set up based in Makati City, Philippines.

Job Summary:

As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's human resources strategies and practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, with a focus on recruitment, performance appraisal, policy development, and employee engagement.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Build a talent pipeline to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Design and implement performance appraisal systems that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Facilitate performance feedback sessions and work with managers to create development plans for employees.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations.
  • Provide guidance to management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies, fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances, fostering effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Organize employee events and activities to strengthen team cohesion and morale.

Key Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant years of of progressive experience in HR management, with a focus on recruitment, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or health industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
