International Marketing Manager


Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a multinational entertainment company. Our respected client is seeking an International Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the marketing and promotional activities for international artists. The work setup is hybrid and from Mondays to Fridays.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Create and champion localized marketing plans (with the help of the Digital Specialist and Creative Partner) for the international artist priority projects - complete with targets, clear strategy, and executional elements
  • Familiarize oneself with and use all the available tools (data analytics software, market share manager, marketing plan template, booking processes etc.)
  • Secure assets or artist involvement needed from the repertoire owners or the regional content team, so the approved plan can be executed
  • Secure promotional support among DSP editors / sales teams, local media, content creators, influencers, and fan clubs for the international artist projects assigned to me with the help of the team
  • Secure approval of localized marketing plan from Senior Marketing Manager before execution
  • Defend agreed-upon plans and pivot quickly when circumstances call for it

Efficiently manage a marketing budget for all marketing projects and initiatives

  • Project spends and secure upper management approval
  • Create and update project plans on internal Accounting systems.
  • Work with the Finance Team to make sure that spends are recorded properly for every single campaign

Report progress (feedback, success, challenges, opportunities) on the status of all campaigns being executed during check-up points
Work on the development of the executives reporting under my role - map out career development goals for each, track these, and evaluate properly

  • Drive improvement in the quality of deliverables
  • Drive improvement in their attitude and behavior at the workplace

Contribute to Business Development - Work with Business Development Executive in creating opportunities within the local market that will drive revenue for the company, outside streaming

  • Identify synchronization opportunities of music for TV, film, and on-demand streaming
  • Establish marketing partnership with brands and promoters to exploit releases or artist market visits and earn revenue outside of streaming and traditional channels


Key job qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product marketing, online marketing or advertising agency environment. Experience in entertainment industry will be a plus
  • At least 2 years managerial experience in leading a small team
  • Strategic, ability to see the big picture and with strong drive to achieve desired business results
  • Dynamic, work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain strong partnership with a wide range of people locally, regionally and globally
  • Organized, detail-oriented, communicative, and flexible
  • Good at multitasking, strong skills in planning & organization, time management, and prioritization
  • Passionate about music especially international repertoire.
