International Technical Sales Manager (Heavy industry)

Monroe Consulting Group, an award-winning executive recruitment firm, is recruiting on behalf of a leading heavy-industry company with strong exposure to international markets. Our client is seeking a dynamic International Technical Sales Manager to drive international sales strategies and revenue growth. This position is based in Samut Prakan, Thailand.

The International Technical Sales Manager will lead international sales strategies for the shipbuilding sectors, managing commercial negotiations including pricing, contracts, and project scope. The role works closely with engineering, production, project management, and finance teams to support proposals and tenders, ensuring successful deal closure.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage sales engineering activities for shipbuilding and offshore projects

  • Prepare and review technical proposals, cost estimates, and commercial quotations

  • Support tendering, bidding, and contract negotiation processes with customers

  • Coordinate closely with engineering, production, procurement, and project management teams to ensure technical and commercial alignment

  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and classification requirements

  • Provide technical and commercial support to international and local clients, ship owners, and ship managers

  • Monitor project costing, budgeting, and commercial risks during pre-sales and execution phases

  • Manage multiple sales opportunities and projects simultaneously

  • Develop, coach, and lead the sales engineering team to achieve performance targets

Job Requirements

  • Proven years of experience in sales engineering, international sales, project sales, or technical sales within the shipbuilding, shipyard, marine, or offshore industry.

  • Experience in handling international customers, overseas projects, or export sales.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong command of English.
