Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading airline company. The IT Project Management Director will provide overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery. This role is on a hybrid work set-up and will be reporting to the CIO.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Establish methodologies to set productivity and quality targets to assess results of the different projects.
- Address and resolve project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions.
- Develop and direct project management operations and strategic planning to meet the organizational goals.
- Provide overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery.
- Supervise and analyse project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems to propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects.
- Work with Solutions Delivery team in the project deliveries and implementation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- At least 15 years work experience in Project Management level
- Must be from aviation industry.
- Minimum of 10 years of managing a high-level team
- Minimum of 10 years of agile project management experience
- Minimum of 10 years of project delivery and implementation experience
- Superior organizational and time management skills for effective planning and execution of objectives
- Strong sense of self-motivation and professional responsibility
- Ability to work under pressure.
