Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia, an executive recruitment firm is partnering with an international personal care manufacturer to hire a Key Account Manager to manage the hair & beauty division. This role is responsible for driving sales, enhancing brand presence, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. This opportunity is based in Selangor, Malaysia.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sales & Key Account Management
- Lead the overall sales and marketing strategy to achieve company-set objectives in sales revenue, profitability, and brand image.
- Develop and implement annual sales plans, strategies, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Analyze market trends, foresee future developments, and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Formulate and execute key sales promotions and product launches to drive market penetration.
- Relationship Management & Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with FMCG buyers, category managers, and key stakeholders.
- Nurture positive and efficient relationships at all levels to ensure smooth execution of sales and marketing strategies.
- Manage customer activity through CRM tools, ensuring maximum efficiency, visibility, and follow-up on open issues.
- Business Development & Market Execution
- Drive key market execution strategies, including sales promotions, visual merchandising enhancements, and planogram optimization.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities, leveraging insights to develop strategic responses and tactical plans.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels to minimize out-of-stock situations and excess inventory.
- Develop detailed operational plans for sales volume, P&L tracking, and business performance reporting.
- Reporting & Business Analysis
- Monitor sell-in, sell-out, and stock movement, ensuring continuous business growth.
- Provide insights and recommendations through data analysis, sales tracking, and competitor benchmarking.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews for internal stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
- Minimum 3 years and above of relevant work experience in FMCG/Beauty industry
- Working experience with Watsons buyers
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
