Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of the world's largest independent data provider and alternative research firm specialising in global hedge fund databases and research. The office location is in Cebu IT Park, working On-site.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with experience handling and analysing large quantities of data with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
The ability to prioritise, organise and show initiative when dealing with several tasks and workloads simultaneously, as well as a desire to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment, is vital for the role in question.
Key job responsibilities:
- Building an understanding of company's research work flows and the underlying data model to interpret and present data to teams across the business.
- Produce accurate analysis and visualisations of data that can be easily absorbed by colleagues and clients with varying levels of data experience.
- Understand the key drivers of data quality and efficiency around the research process
- Work with team management and senior leadership to provide insight
Key job requirements:
- This role requires an analyst with experience analysing data using Tableau
- Added advantage on experience with SQL/MySQL etc
- Ability to build knowledge of underlying data structures that may not be fully documented
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet business deadlines.
- Confident communicator with the ability to adapt communication style and manage stakeholder expectations around requirements and deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
- Applicants must be confident, proactive and able to work independently.
- Knowledge in financial sector is desirable
