Managing Director (Inspection & Certification)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of the multinational inspection & certification company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 20 years of experience in managing a company for the job of Managing Director. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead the country leadership teams of Indonesia to drive sales, revenue, and contribution to achieving the profitable growth strategy embedding sales improvement programs and optimization of delivery.
  • Manage Assurance resources within Indonesia, working with the Senior HR Business Partner, develop and execute a People plan to meet current and future business needs.
  • Lead the deployment and implementation of the strategy and multi-year plan.
  • Contribute to the shaping and the innovation agenda of the assurance stream strategy.
  • Provide commercial thought leadership and represent the company to the relevant stakeholders in Indonesia.
  • Manage relationships with major clients and stakeholders to better understand clients' needs and market trends to inform new product development and opportunities.
  • Identifies and executes opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances.
  • Manage cost planning, including the annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic review processes for the Assurance Stream in Indonesia.
  • Responsible to deliver the Assurance P&L (sales, revenue, and contribution) of Assurance streams within Indonesia adhering to all Corporate Governance Policies, and ensuring efficient operations are implemented in all key geographies.
  • Manage accurate sales and financial reports and trading forecasts together with the Finance Partner and leadership of all functional areas.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's policies, technical and legal requirements.

Job Requirement:

  • Having a master's degree in MBA and coming from the certification industry with a minimum of 15 years of experience.
  • Strong market understanding and knowledge of industry players.
  • Proven experience in developing, motivating, and leading a winning team.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership position, ideally within a matrix organization.
  • An understanding of the business planning and budgetary control processes.
  • Mastering to speak and write English.
  • Out of the box thinker, self-motivated and result-driven.
