Material Planner (Manufacturing) Biñan, Laguna, Philippines

Monroe Consulting Group, an esteemed executive search firm, is representing a global leader in industrial productivity solutions and is actively seeking a Material Planner to oversee all sourcing-related functions pertaining to inventory. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in CRM, SAP, and other databases. This position is office-based in Biñan, Laguna, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Job Summary:

The Material Planner will be responsible for leading all sourcing-related functions associated with inventory. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Material Planner will collaborate with Sales teams for demand planning/forecasting and stock replenishment via the Global Inventory Management (GIM) system. Experience in CRM, SAP, and other databases is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Replenishment

Maintain optimal inventory levels within budget to meet business objectives and ensure high service levels for internal and external customers.
Collaborate with Sales teams for accurate demand planning/forecasting and stock replenishment via the GIM system.
Manage surplus stock and aged spare parts.
Address spares inquiries by assessing local customer requirements.
Maintain inventory records and usage trends for production and financial purposes.
Supervise inventory checks and stock counts in compliance with local and company financial regulations.
Perform daily maintenance of the Inbound Cockpit by resolving errors and managing system locations.
Ensure high data quality of materials and perform necessary mass updates.

Material Price Administration

Upload prices for all materials across business lines in SAP.
Manage material pricing continuously and ensure accuracy in alignment with business line strategies.
Understand the APP process, pricing setup, and discount structure.

Material Issue Resolving

Investigate and resolve issues with materials part numbers and incorrect data in C4C.
Analyze backorder reports weekly and provide insights.
Produce and analyze reporting regarding materials.
Focus on improving Master Data quality for materials on the Boest! dashboard.

Issue Resolving Escalations

Collaborate with global teams to resolve issues through Solman, My Quest, SNOW tickets, or divisional data specialists.
Confirm and adjust delivery dates for purchasing parts.
Assist other Supply staff as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Key job requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
1 to 5 years of experience in Material Planner/Logistics.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in data handling (desirable).
Familiarity with CRM, SAP, and/or databases (desirable).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
Strong analytical and data handling skills.
Must be available to start immediately and willing to work on-site in Biñan City, Laguna.
