Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is partnered with a global leader in the manufacture of polymer materials. They are seeking an exceptional engineer with at least 3 years' experience in Maintenance or Reliability Engineering in Manufacturing environment. The job is based in Negeri Sembilan.
The successful Applicant will help our clients with Maintenance of a new and highly automated plant. They will report to a Maintenance Manager and will manage a lean team of Technicians.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead a group of maintenance and engineering technicians and actively participate in developing the Maintenance Master Plan
- Support the Planning and Scheduling process for of all Maintenance related activities
- Continually assist to develop the CMMS implementation in line with Department and organization Strategy
- Support the team for Root Cause Failure analysis and implement proactive measures and implement outcomes to strengthen Preventive Maintenance Effectiveness/Process Improvements
- Partake in Condition Monitoring Activities (eg Thermal Imaging, Vibration Analysis) and Digitalization efforts focusing on improving Equipment reliability and effectiveness
- Analyze loss makers and implement activities/action plans in line with safety, production and quality needs
- To assist in updating and reviewing the Bill of materials and Spare parts of equipment, preserving adequate and cost-effective Technical Stock Holdings and eliminate downtime due to spares unavailability
- Support the implementation of plant automation/Improvement changes, in conjunction with Production, Quality and Safety departments
- Remains up to date on technology as it pertains to the plant's operation Responsible for ensuring that maintenance and engineering activities are conducted in compliance with EHSS regulations
Job requirements:
- 3 years in manufacturing maintenance function. Chemical or other high volume manufacturing experience is a plus
- Minimum Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Industrial engineering
- Candidates from Manufacturing (High Mix High Volume) background are preferred
- Lean/Six Sigma would be an added advantage
- Strong fluency in English and Malay
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
- Must be able to work in Negeri Sembilan
