Offering Manager (Power)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of a leading and globally renowned industrial and technology manufacturing company. Our respected FORTUNE500 client, listed on the NYSE has critical infrastructure technologies and engineering services for data centres, communication networks, and commercial and industrial facilities. Our client is seeking an Offering Manager (Power). This role is based in Selangor.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Capture Voice of Customers, analysis of customer application segment, their need Vs Product Segment
  • Understand competitive forces, their products and position the organization's PDU products and its values.
  • Set up right pricing for the products and accessories to fuel growth in product segment.
  • Maintain products and pricing in system, analyze and report product financials.
  • Business case development for new product requirement in the market.
  • Strategize product Growth and profitability for rolling out in the market.
  • Represent the region in LOB meetings.
  • Monitoring and managing VCM initiatives.
  • Local Agency approvals, if applicable.
  • Ownership of technical documentation
  • Ownership of NPDI gate process for the region.
  • NPI documentation preparation and NPI transition management from existing to new product.
  • Key Customer, consultant technical presentations as product Expert.


Product Marketing Management:

  • Supporting New Product Launches; Internal and External, for New AC Power products; support executing new product promotional programs.
  • Support customer demand generation program by working closely with Marketing team; Enable sales team, internal and Channel.
  • Help Offering Manager in Business case development for new product requirement in the market.
  • Support VCM initiatives in AC Power business by right product mix and positioning.
  • Key Customer, consultant technical presentations as AC Power Solution Expert.


Key Performance Area:

  • Product Life Cycle Management of 3 Phase AC Power UPS in SEA/NA o
    • Product Line Sales, and VCM growth as per planned growth strategy.
    • Product Roadmap Management.
    • New Product Innovation and Introduction.
    • Appropriate Product Positioning, Pricing based on Customer's need and competitive situation.
    • Managing Product Sustaining Engineering projects.
  • 3 phase Medium and Large UPS product Marketing Strategy and execution in SEA/NA
    • Manage and own New Product Introduction process in SEA/NA Market.
    • Supporting execution of Product Growth Strategy and VCM improvement Drive programs.
  • Support Market in promoting and offering Integrated Power Train solutions (PTU, APT etc).

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related.
  • Strong technical and application knowledge of AC Power UPS/Integrated Power Train solutions.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in UPS/Generators, Product Sales & Marketing.
  • Strong experience in system design and technical/product marketing.
  • Must be comfortable in facing customers as this is a customer-facing role with strong focus to meet and exceed customers' technical system and solutions demands.
