Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Local Conglomerates company. Our respected client is seeking a qualified individual as Operation Manager. The position will be based in Batam, Indonesia (willingness to relocate required).

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee all production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy manufacturing or fabrication, with a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence. The Operations Manager will work closely with the Technical Manager and General Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all departments under their purview.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all production operations, including Production, Production Planning, Maintenance, Warehouse & Logistics departments.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Manager and Deputy General Manager to develop and implement operating systems tailored to company's specific needs.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations, implementing quality systems and continuous improvement processes as necessary.
  • Manage a large workforce, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Utilize extensive experience in heavy manufacturing or fabrication to optimize production flow and maximize output.
  • Lead efforts to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to meet or exceed production targets.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments, implementing best practices to enhance operational performance.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a heavy manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production flow concepts, quality systems, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience managing large teams in a relatively unautomated production environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of hydraulic production equipment and welding processes preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia.
