Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is partnering with a leading outsourcing provider specialising in payroll and administrative services. Our client is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support the expansion of their operations in Kuala Lumpur. This role is essential in managing the payroll function, ensuring accurate, efficient, and end-to-end handling of payroll processes.
Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all clients.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF).
- Prepare and submit statutory contributions and tax filings to relevant authorities.
- Handle payroll-related queries from clients and provide timely resolutions.
- Generate payroll reports for management review and audits.
- Able to provide guidance to junior team members.
- Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in Malaysia.
- Knowledge of Malaysian statutory contributions and payroll regulations.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Knowledge of regional payroll practices (ASEAN countries) is an added advantage.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
