Executive Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a global life sciences and clinical research company. Our client is looking for a Prin Systems Admin (DevOps Lead). In this role, your main role will entail propelling automation, scalability, and reliability in infrastructure and application deployments. You will spearhead the CI/CD strategy, infrastructure as code, and the optimization of system performance to bolster agile development and operational success.
This job is based in Libis, Quezon City/Pasig City and has a Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) work set-up and night shift schedule (8:00 PM - 5:00 PM PST).
Key Job Responsibilities
- Build, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
- Streamline infrastructure setup through the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Lead DevOps strategy across development, QA, and production environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment workflows.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Manage container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards in automated workflows.
- Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues across environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps guidelines.
- Drive continuous improvement in release management and system reliability.
Key Job Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 8+ years).
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experienced with system monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana.
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and security protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff
Must have Skills
