Production Manager (Electrical Manufacturing), Pathum Thani

Monroe Consulting Group, an award-winning executive recruitment firm, is recruiting on behalf of a leading and innovative company in the electrical components industry. Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations and engineering activities, based in Pathum Thani, Thailand.

The Production Manager will oversee end-to-end manufacturing performance and engineering processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, while driving continuous improvement in productivity, cost, and process efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations, ensuring on-time delivery, quality output, and optimal resource utilization across manpower, materials, and equipment.

  • Lead and develop production and engineering teams to achieve operational goals, including training, performance management, and workforce planning.

  • Manage and improve manufacturing processes for electrical component products, driving efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.

  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by coordinating engineering design reviews, production trials, and process validation.

  • Implement Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce waste.

  • Ensure product quality and compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and relevant industry requirements (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620).

  • Collaborate with quality, procurement, and design functions to resolve technical or process issues and support sourcing of key materials and components.

  • Monitor and control production KPIs, including yield, throughput, downtime, and efficiency performance.

  • Ensure workplace safety, EHS compliance, and adherence to operational policies and documentation control.

  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to support business growth, scalability, and operational excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Possess academic background in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience in production and/or engineering management within electrical components, or related manufacturing industries.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment used in electrical assembly.

  • Skilled in technical drawings, wiring schematics, and quality standards (UL, IPC, ISO).

  • Proven leadership in process improvement and team development; Lean or Six Sigma background is an advantage.

  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and general computer applications.

  • Good command of English communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
