Program Manager - EAST

About the Role


We are looking for a Provincial Coordinator for East Indonesia Area to support provincial-level anti-trafficking and worker-protection initiatives. In this role, you will coordinate implementing partners, strengthen local government collaboration, and drive community-level access-to-justice efforts. You will serve as a key liaison between the organization and local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate implementing partners to ensure high-quality delivery of protection programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with provincial and district government agencies, law enforcement, and service providers.
  • Represent the organization in provincial meetings, consultations, and multi-stakeholder forums.
  • Analyze local socio-political and cultural dynamics to anticipate risks and inform program strategy.
  • Support the alignment of project activities with established protection models and standards.
  • Strengthen the capacity of partners and government stakeholders through training, mentoring, and technical guidance.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, field visits, and coordination activities across partners and local actors.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and reporting standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and data for monitoring and evaluation.
  • Contribute to local-level advocacy efforts that promote access to justice and improved protection responses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, law, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • 7-10 years of experience in project coordination or management.
  • Proven experience working with local communities, NGOs, government institutions, or international organizations.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong coordination, government-relations, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management abilities.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills; able to identify risks and propose solutions.
  • Experience in training, mentoring, and building capacity of partners or local actors.
  • High integrity, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work in diverse cultural contexts.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned province.
