Monroe Consulting Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager for an exciting opportunity based in Jakarta, Indonesia within the insurance industry.
This role is perfect for a self-starter who wants to build something new and impactful. You will be responsible for launching a new health insurance product in Indonesia, working with an insurance partner to drive sales personally, through a broker network, and with a direct sales team.

Responsibilities
- Launch a new health insurance product in the Indonesian market.
- Grow sales personally, as well as through broker and direct sales teams.
- Manage and grow existing business in Indonesia and the region.
- Develop and implement growth plans for the region.
- Manage an in-region team and potentially grow it to meet sales targets.
- Travel extensively across Indonesia and the region for business development and management duties.
- Deliver sales results based on company growth objectives.
- Manage key broker relationships within the region.
- Contribute to the overall business strategy and provide strategic input to the Senior Management Team.
- Identify and build new distribution channels and territories.
- Conduct and provide feedback on market research.
- Collaborate with business partners on joint sales opportunities and relationships.
- Work with TPA partners to develop health and well-being services.
Requirements
- A successful track record within one or two insurance companies.
- Auditable career progression and proven results, including meeting and exceeding challenging targets.
- Good knowledge of the international health insurance industry and health insurance products. Knowledge of life and disability products is also desirable.
- Demonstrable business and commercial acumen.
- Strong selling, influencing, and relationship management skills.
- Experience dealing with senior-level brokers and intermediaries.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both over the phone and in person.
- Planning, organizational, and IT literacy skills.
- Leadership credentials and an ability to work independently as a self-motivated, self-starter.
- A big-picture perspective with the drive and passion to build and motivate sales teams.
- Personal characteristics include charisma, integrity, ambition, energy, persistence, and being hard-working.
- Fluency in both Bahasa and English is required.
