Sales Engineering Manager

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Consumer Technology Division is recruiting on behalf of an established Network Device Infrastructure manufacturer.

Our esteemed client focuses on helping to build a prosperous society where people everywhere have easy and secure access to information regardless of time or place. They are currently seeking an ambitious and forward Sales Engineering Manager to be part of their growing business.

Job responsibilities:

  • Engineering Task
    • Provide product/solution/case study updates to customers regularly
    • Set-up demo environment of wireless, switches and firewalls in our office so that we can demonstrate to visitors
    • Join our event and provide presentation and demonstration of wireless, switches and firewalls
    • Arrange meetings with end users and partners as much as possible. Target - Government, Transportation, Healthcare, Education, Manufacturing, Office LAN
    • Create proposal with wireless, switches and firewalls as much as possible to contribute these key functions revenue
    • Create Bill Of Material with our products and send to our sales team so that they can create the quotation
    • Demonstrate wireless, switches and firewalls to customer to increase win possibility
    • If necessary, provide basic site survey to understand customer environment, size, problem and requirement to propose deeply
    • Share proposal documents, demo configurations, tender specifications, POC documents and success stories with our engineers by Teams as much as possible
    • Answer to inquiries from customer and our sales team by email, telephone or text message
    • Escalate to GPM by salesforce for enhancement, documentation, new product schedule
    • Escalate to TAC by salesforce for product specification or troubleshooting with symptom, frequency, workaround, diagram, show tech log etc
  • Management Task
    • Train engineer team member with our company profile, organization, product, service, internal rule and our key features so that engineer team member can explain the benefits of the key features to customer
    • Create monthly report by excel format (Important Opportunity Support, Problem, Office Demo Set-up Progress, Customer Training/Demo/Event, Request) with engineer team member and send by 15th of each month
    • Join Sales Engineer monthly meeting and feedback the minutes to engineer team member
    • Join Sales Engineer quarterly training and feedback the contents to engineer team member

Job requirements:

  • Min. Diploma/Degree with relevant discipline, preferably 3 to 5 years of industry sales experience
