Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia, an executive recruitment consultant firm, is recruiting on behalf of a multinational chemical manufacturing company. As part of its continued business expansion, our client is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to manage key accounts, drive sales performance, and strengthen market presence within the printing ink industry. This position will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage key customer accounts through a strategic approach to better understand client needs and drive long-term partnerships.
  • Implement effective marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and product positioning within assigned customers.
  • Conduct market research in collaboration with the Commercial team to maintain and update customer and competitor databases, and identify demand and profitability opportunities.
  • Execute pricing strategies and adjustments in coordination with internal stakeholders to remain competitive in the market.
  • Drive sales activities through regular customer visits to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts aligned with business objectives and market conditions.
  • Monitor product stock movement and support initiatives to accelerate sales of slow-moving products.
  • Maintain strong internal coordination with cross-functional teams for product development, approvals, training, and communication, while ensuring effective external communication with customers.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the printing ink industry.
  • Proven experience in selling Offset Ink, Gravure Ink, Flexo Ink, and/or Adhesives.
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  • Technical background in printing-related industries (e.g., ink, film, or adhesive manufacturing) is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in Mandarin (spoken) is required.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
