Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a software development company. Our respective client is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager who is highly versed with progressive accounting experience. This role will be reporting in Taguig City, Metro Manila with Onsite work requirement.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement, bank reconciliation and consolidated financial reports
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting Department including:
- month and end-year process
- accounts payable/receivable
- cash receipts
- general ledger
- payroll and utilities
- treasury and budgeting
- cash forecasting
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- Bank account statement reconciliations
- fixed asset activity
- debt activity
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Maintain company's book of accounts, financial schedules and supplementary reports
- Oversee filing of tax returns including but not limited to: Income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, DST, etc. as required in complying with BIR laws.
- Coordinate and complete annual financial audit and BIR tax audits.
- Prepare and file timely of statutory reports for government agencies (BIR, SEC, LGUs, etc.) such as but not limited to business permit application, renewals, GIS, audited financial statements and retirement.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Lead Accounting team in delivering relevant management reports and in the development and implementation of systems of internal control throughout the organization to ensure the safeguarding of company's assets.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
Key Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Preferably CPA but not required.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a managerial and supervisory role.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications, and knowledgeable in Computerized Accounting System is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of organization.
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
- Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Highly proficient in speaking and writing English
