Job Summary
Our respected client is seeking an experienced R2R Senior Revenue Manager. The role leads the delivery of accurate and timely processes within the revenue accounting management area of responsibility within the R2R Tower and will be responsible for ensuring the team are trained and deliver their tasks accurately and ensuring the integrity of financial transactions by reviewing outputs from the team, including actions on ageing or unusual transactions and ensuring appropriate and timely action has been taken. The role will set and agree the performance targets for the sub-tower with the R2R tower lead and monitor the actual performance taking action to correct underperformance, champion continuous improvements within the sub-tower and regularly demonstrate efficiency improvements made, collaborate with the R2R Tower lead on setting SLA/OLA with stakeholders and monitor delivery of services against them and ensure you are aware of new services that need setting up through strong networking with finance stakeholders and contribute to ERP and other finance point solution enhancements.
The job is in Parañaque City, Metro Manila, Philippines, and offers a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all revenue recognition and linked financial, including Revenue calculations, Affiliate and revenue share, gross win transfers, customer liability calculations and other revenue linked areas as assigned.
- Responsible for timely corrective actions taken by team to deal with discrepancies and ensuring all unusual/exceptions are narrated and action plans in place and tracking delivery of action plan.
- Responsible for data integrity of reports used in performing revenue tasks.
- Responsible for continuous improvements being fully tested before deployment with roll back plans.
- Responsible for the operation of daily and weekly accounting controls as defined by risk and control matrix on area of responsibility
- Responsible to ensure up-to-date process documentation complete, and all task assignment, ensuring new processes are assigned to individuals.
- Run daily huddle processes and ensure team are aware of KPI's and performance against them.
- Collaborate with R2R Tower Lead to set daily, weekly, monthly and annual performance targets and KPI's for the team.
- Ensure appropriate continuous professional development, keeping abreast of all internal, legislative, and industry best practice.
- Ensure appropriate interpretation and implementation of required changes in a timely manner.
- Support all internal and external audit activities through the provision of required documentation when necessary.
Key Job Requirements:
- CPA or global equivalent (ACCA)
- 5 years of experience in an R2R/GL accounting role, within a Shared Service Centre or Finance department
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow belt desirable.
- Experience with complex revenue recognition scenarios desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data validation and record keeping.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and reconciliation tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet established reconciliation deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple reconciliation-related tasks concurrently.
