Our client is seeking a suitable candidate to lead the electrical maintenance team to perform electrical maintenance Er reliability related job functions in safe, cost-effective manners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity and skill of personnel. Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity and skill of personnel.
- Oversees the completion and reporting of maintenance work done by charge man and electrician. Monitor and coordinates maintenance and repair work at plant site. Investigates and troubleshooting complex problems with electrical equipment and control system.
- To assist engineer in Plant Turnaround Management. Oversee on all electrical maintenance activity at site. Direct involved in supervising critical electrical machinery maintenance.
- To assist engineer in originates and develops analysis information for rapidly repairing equipment by study of operating and repair manuals. Acquires failure data and prepares maintenance plans for restoring equipment to operating condition in a minimum amount of time.
- As appropriate, contacts and coordinates external service specialists, contractors and vendor.
Electrical maintenance scope:
- To work out the method statement of electrical maintenance work especially on critical and major maintenance work, as templates for chargeman reference.

- Patrol and monitor work areas and examine tools and equipment used by electrical team. To be the authorized person to inspect on the quality and specification of electrical maintenance works performed by chargeman and contractor.
- Supervising charge man and electrical team on their work execution. Relief duties of electrical superintendent, charge man, when necessary, determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity and skill of personnel.
Reliability support job scope:
- Assist electrical engineer in performing failure root cause analysis as to troubleshoot and avoiding repeating event again.

- Performing partial discharge monitoring data analysis on all HV motors.
- To be trained up with expertise skill and recognized competency in specific condition-based maintenance skills, support all On Site plants and liaise with external contractor and specialists on any issues.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar industry.
- Having good skills in inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical system and equipment within authorization and competency.
- Understanding the implication of new information, knowledge, skills, procedure, and instruction for both current and future task execution, not limited to electrical and safety related. Having good skills in inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical system and equipment.
