Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is partnering with a hydropower consulting firm headquartered in Austria to recruit a Project Manager. This role will oversee end-to-end hydropower plant projects, coordinating both local teams in Indonesia and international stakeholders. The position is based in Greater Jakarta and focuses primarily on managing hydropower projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, coordination, and execution across all phases.
- Manage client and stakeholder communication to ensure alignment.
- Oversee engineering teams to deliver quality and compliant solutions.
- Support permitting, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and risks; drive cost and efficiency improvements.
- Supervise construction progress and site activities.
- Deliver regular reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Promote sustainability and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or related; PMP preferred.
- 8+ years' experience managing energy/infrastructure projects, ideally hydropower.
- Strong understanding of hydropower systems and regulations.
- Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; local language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to site locations.
