Software Tester

Executive search firm, Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of one of the leading multinational transportation, logistics, supply chain and storage company that is based from the UK. They're in search of dynamic leaders to join their force as a Global Business Centre Manager.

Job Responsibility:

  1. Test Procedure Development:
    • Develops test procedures and evaluates software quality.
  2. Test Case Design:
    • Ability to design test cases for comprehensive coverage of internal and external customer expectations.
    • Analyze system requirements and design specifications to construct test cases.
    • Apply standard techniques for test case development.
  3. Test Case Execution:
    • Execute test cases to validate software quality.
  4. Defect Reporting and Resolution:
    • Report all issues discovered during testing with clear and concise descriptions into Defect Management tools.
    • Collaborate with Development and Integration Teams to track and resolve identified issues.

Job Requirements:

  • 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or Communication Engineering.
  • Familiarity with testing approaches and techniques in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Monitoring system functionality for enhancing user experiences.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement and streamlining.
  • Updating user and client guides to ensure information clarity.
  • Commitment to ongoing service and system enhancement.
  • Employing a "think outside the box" mentality in user experience testing.
  • Possessing a keen eye for detail and curiosity about system functionality.
  • Knowledge of the property industry.
