Due to the company is expanding to EMEA and Manila, our respected client is currently looking for an Information Technology (IT) professional for the role of Solutions Engineer - VMware. As a Solutions Engineer, with a focus on VMware vRA/vRO (vRealize Automation and vRealize Orchestrator), you will enter a high-energy and tech-savvy world. We are looking for someone who has exceptional interpersonal skills, is customer service focused, and has a proven track record of delivering best in class in data center solutions involving private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures. Successful engineers are able to adapt quickly to changing technical and professional environments.
Key Job Qualifications:
- Identify opportunities for automation within software processes, by actively participating in the assessment, planning, and implementing of data center solutions including storage, servers, virtualized environments, and data protection
- Design, deploy, support and troubleshoot large-scale infrastructures
- Lead automation projects for large-scale data center solutions
- Provide solutions to complex hardware/software infrastructure projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
Key Job Responsibilities:
- 10+ years implementing, designing, architecting, and automating complex Data Center technologies
* Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or demonstrated performance in a technical work environment
* Growth in technical skills through relevant certifications or other similar achievements is desired
* Ability to effectively communicate, present and articulate strategies across various audiences; sales, marketing, partners, clients, consultants, and executive leaders (internal and external) - The ideal candidate will have expertise in the following areas:
- Install, Manage, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere and vRealize Suite
- Strong VMware vRA Installation, Configuration, Integration, and Management skills
- Strong documentation skills; need to document architecture, processes, workflows, and blueprints
- Strong VMware vRO Workflow and Action Development
- Knowledge of Windows Administration
- Knowledge of Linux Administration
- ThevRealize Suite expert with experience in one or more of the following is recommended:
- vRA 8 and Codestream
- CICD Pipeline
- Kubernetes
- CKA certification is a plus
- YAML and Ansible
- Terraform expertise
- NSX experience i
- VMware Tanzu
