Executive recruitment firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of multinational technology company.

Our respected client is seeking a skilled and experienced Vulnerability and Patch Management Specialist. The job is located in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines and offers an Onsite work setup.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Patch Management: Develop, implement, and manage patch management strategies for all operating systems and applications across the organization.
  • Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools to identify security risks and recommend remediation actions.
  • Security Updates: Coordinate and deploy security updates and patches to ensure systems are protected against known vulnerabilities
  • Endpoint Security: Manage endpoint security solutions, ensuring all devices are compliant with security policies and standards.
  • Incident Response: Collaborate with the security team to respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Configuration Management: Maintain and optimize configuration management databases (CMDB) to track and manage IT assets and their configurations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for patch management processes, vulnerability assessments, and security configurations.
  • Reporting: Generate and present regular reports on patch and vulnerability management activities, including metrics and KPIs, to senior management.
  • Training: Provide training and guidance to IT staff on best practices for patch and vulnerability management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of patch and vulnerability management processes into overall IT operations.

Key Job Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in patch management, vulnerability assessment, and endpoint security in large-scale environments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using patch management and vulnerability assessment tools such as Ivanti, Intune, JAMF, Nessus, Qualys, Tanium, and other enterprise-class patching tools.
  • Operating Systems: In-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems, including administration and security practices.
  • Security Standards: Familiarity with security standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
