Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing medical device company who provides innovative solutions in the regenerative and orthopaedic industry. As business growth and expansion continues, our client is looking for an experienced Head of Sales to manage the sales team. The opportunity is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As a Head of Sales, you are responsible for creating directions and performance standards through building, planning, defining, and communicating the sales team's strategies and are accountable for the performance of the company's portfolio within your department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the sales department to achieve company's short, mid, and long-term goals the performance of sales team.
  • Take charge of the development, improvement, and implementation of GTM, SFE, CRM, Internal Processes and People Development's strategies and goals
  • Risk and issue management including identification, mitigation, and resolution.
  • Lead and managed high performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success in meeting sales target and encourage maximum performance and dedication.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy, plans, procedures, and meeting cadences to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth. Create a platform to keep all stakeholders informed on the progress of those goals.
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential challenges in the competitive environment.
  • Practice and enforce high performance culture. Effectively hold entire sales team accountable for the delivery of expectations and best practice standards.
  • Monitor performance and prepare standard operational reports.
  • Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics. Identify and analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform business and sales strategies.
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (Sales, Sales Support & Technical Specialist).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships between the sales team and internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment to achieve business objectives. Foster strong relationship with Key Opinion Leaders to establish the strongest partnership in providing the best health care solution to our patients.
  • Run S&OP in partnership with the supply chain to ensure continuity of product availability minimizing backorders, stockouts and write-off situations.
  • Practice high standards of compliance with both external and internal policies and regulations, as well as participate and be involved in Safety, Security, and Health initiatives within the Company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of team management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
