I recently found this interesting graphic that highlights the cost of a bad hire. Although the figures mentioned are pulled from surveys in the USA, it is none the less relevant globally. Sometimes it is easy to forget for devastating a bad hire for a company can be. The consequences can be direct loss of revenue or worse the loss of other team members.
