Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia has defended its title as ‘Best New Recruitment Agency’ at the prestigious Asia Recruitment Awards 2017 Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur-based Monroe Malaysia, which launched less than three years ago, also claimed a bronze award in the category of ‘Best Candidate Experience by a Recruitment Agency.’
“We are delighted with the win, which is a reflection of how far we have progressed in such a short space of time,” said Monica Viladot, the managing director of Monroe Malaysia. “Our team of recruitment consultants couldn’t be happier.”
Monica said she was particularly proud to have been nominated in the ‘Best Candidate Experience by a Recruitment Agency’ category and to have taken the bronze award.
“Monroe prides itself on candidate care and this is a business model that we have implemented in Malaysia,” Monica said. “We strongly believe that looking after candidates during any recruitment process is crucial to our ability to make the best placements for our client companies.”
Besides Malaysia, Monroe Consulting Group has operations in China, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Chile and Mexico. The company has specialised divisions focusing on executive-level recruitment in technology, industry, consumer goods, health and professional services, which incorporates banking, finance and insurance.

The Best New Recruitment Agency is open to industry newcomers that have proven themselves to be reputable and profitable. Monroe Malaysia took home the title in 2016, after it was judged the best all-round newcomer for “delivering exemplary value and quantifiable results similar to those of big agencies.”
Best Candidate Experience by a Recruitment Agency is awarded for a superior candidate experience that involves creativity, innovation, efficiency and levels of satisfaction above and beyond those provided by other agencies.
