Senior staff from leading online classifieds site OLX Indonesia met with executive recruitment consultants from Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia to enhance their understandings of the recruitment process. Monroe’s Technology Division held a sharing session with about 20 employees from OLX’s Technology and Product Division, including an overview of the recruitment industry, and how companies can attract and retain staff.
Cindy Sutjiadi, Talent Acquisition Manager at OLX Indonesia, the country’s largest online classified ads provider, said Monroe had had the greatest success in placing technical and executive-level employees at OLX Indonesia.
“I have been working with several recruitment agencies and can safely say that Monroe is the best that I can recommend,” she said. “Monroe really understands the market and really understands the technical details involved in each position. What matters most, however, is the quality of the service, the level of professionalism and the sincere personal approach. Monroe takes customer satisfaction very seriously.”
Sondang Saktion, a vastly experienced human resources executive who is OLX’s Head of HR for Southeast Asia, similarly expressed her appreciation for Monroe Indonesia’s executive recruitment services and looked forward to the continuation of a great relationship.
“It is crucial for companies like OLX to find the right recruitment partner who can represent their business and reputation in the market, and Monroe certainly does this very well,” Sondang said. “And from a candidate’s perspective, it is important to choose which headhunter you want to represent your profile and bridge you to the right company and opportunity. Here, Monroe is definitely the right answer.”
Bayu Amus said that Monroe helped him secure his job as Head of User Experience at OLX Indonesia last year. “Obviously Monroe Indonesia have served both myself and OLX very well and have been able to differentiate themselves from the competition, including in the standards of service they provide,” he said. “Some agencies have recruitment consultants with little clue about their jobs or the wider industry and will push through candidate profiles to meet KPI [key performance indicator] requirements. This doesn’t happen with Monroe. They are purely professional.”
Tina Nugraheni, head of Monroe Indonesia’s Technology Division, said the two-hour discussion was invaluable from a recruitment consultant’s viewpoint, offering the opportunity to meet with highly technical executives and discuss a range of issues pertinent to the E-commerce, tech and information technology (IT) industries.
She said a highlight was recruitment consultant Adeline Wu’s presentation, ‘How to Successfully Apply for a Job' which provided an informative overview of creating the perfect CV, preparation for a job interview, making a great impression and post-interview follow-up.
