On April 26, 2024, Monroe Consulting Group Thailand joined the First Jobbers @ Thammasat University event at Novotel Bangkok Future Park Rangsit—a platform designed to help students prepare for the workforce by connecting them with industry professionals.
This event is part of Monroe’s ongoing collaboration with Thammasat University, aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world career expectations.
This is not the first time Monroe has worked with Thammasat University. Similar sessions have taken place in previous years, continuing a relationship built on the shared goal of supporting students as they prepare for the transition into employment. Read the previous article here.
Connecting Students with the World of Work
Monroe’s team—including consultants, managers, and sales leadership—shared practical career advice on CV writing, interviews, and job market trends. We also listened to what students value most in an employer today: transparency, flexibility, wellbeing, and purpose.
“Universities teach theory, but events like this expose students to reality,” said the Monroe team. “We’re here to connect education with career readiness.”
Why It Matters
Early exposure to industry helps students navigate their career paths with more confidence and less pressure to make the "perfect" first move. Monroe sees this as more than recruitment—it’s about building Thailand’s future workforce through collaboration, mentorship, and open dialogue.
