About the Role

Executive recruitment firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a highly trusted leader in the industrial batching and concrete mixing plant industry. Our client is seeking a seasoned professional with 5-7 years of experience in industrial plant solutions to join them as an Area Sales Manager.

While the headquarters is in Metro Manila, these roles focus on the Visayas and Mindanao regions under a remote/fieldwork arrangement.

Job Summary

This role is critical in driving sales and operational success for asphalt and concrete mixing plants across the Philippines. The position ensures cohesive sales strategies, service excellence, and market leadership within the Philippine construction and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute robust sales strategies to promote asphalt and concrete mixing plants, ensuring alignment with regional objectives.
  • Performance Management: Establish and track key performance metrics to ensure consistent achievement of sales goals and market penetration.
  • Regional Collaboration: Work closely with the Regional Sales GM to design and implement growth initiatives tailored to the Philippine market.
  • Service Integration: Collaborate with service and parts teams to optimize customer satisfaction and after-sales delivery.
  • Operational Coordination: Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations, from order processing to after-sales support.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to develop actionable growth strategies.
  • Business Development: Identify and explore new business opportunities to strengthen the company's presence nationwide.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts and business partners.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Regional Sales GM regarding market developments, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.


Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical) or Business Management.
  • Experience: At least 5-7 years in sales and operational roles specific to heavy machinery, construction equipment, or industrial plant solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience with asphalt and concrete mixing plants (or similar infrastructure equipment) is a significant advantage.
  • Track Record: Strategic thinker with a documented history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, account management, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
  • Technical Familiarity: Deep understanding of construction equipment lifecycles.
  • Communication: Fluent in English and Filipino, with excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Networking: An established network within the Philippine construction and infrastructure sectors.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across the Philippines and occasionally to Singapore or other regional hubs.
  • Transportation: Must own a vehicle for business travel within the assigned territory.
