Job summary:
The Successful candidate will be responsible to deliver a range of financial and compliance-based services to a high standard that adhere to agreed performance and cost targets within an environment that encourages continuous improvement and sound fiscal management.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Control of accounting processes (e.g. Month-end, Year-end) to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures (e.g. Statutory Account preparation), US GAAP, compliance (SOX) and fiscal requirements to defined internal customers in line with global accounting requirements.
- Develop, maintain and manage relationships with external parties (e.g. auditors, national fiscal bodies) and optimise country level financial processes in line with global accounting requirements.
- Ensure a robust system of internal controls in compliance with SOX.
- Deliver month end close reports as per Reporting Team requirement and deadline set.
- Assist in the co-ordination and management of internal and external audit activity for relevant entities in line with budgeted audit costs.
- Support delivery of all budgeting and forecasting processes in line with corporate guidelines.
- Prepare Indirect Tax (Withholding Tax & Sales and Service Tax) computations to a high standard and submit in-line with stipulated deadlines.
- Management of tax computations and associated reporting to the company's applicable tax authority requests (e.g. CBCR Reports, Transfer Pricing Report and RTP process and tax estimation).
Key job requirements include:
- University (Degree) in Finance or Economics or Accounting with professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / CA / CIMA) with at least 2 years work experience.
- Strong technical accounting and compliance experience with exposure to multiple GAAP compliance (e.g. IFRS, Local, US GAAP) whilst working independently and meeting strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of Financial Accounting.
- Proven interpersonal and influencing skills to maintain effective relationships with associates at all levels.
- Excellent in Microsoft Office application such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint and proven ERP experience (SAP preferred).
