Monroe Consulting is assisting a well-known premium hospital in Jakarta in recruiting a Medical Assistant Director. This key leadership role will support the hospital in strengthening medical operations, enhancing clinical service quality, and driving strategic initiatives across departments. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with medical teams, contribute to operational improvements, and ensure high standards of patient care and hospital performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and strengthen day-to-day medical and operational functions within the hospital.
- Collaborate closely with the existing Medical Manager and clinical teams to ensure smooth coordination and alignment across departments.
- Provide strategic input to enhance clinical support services and develop medical initiatives for the upcoming year.
- Gather insights and feedback from medical professionals to identify opportunities for service improvement and operational efficiency.
- Support hospital accreditation preparation and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Develop and propose new operational and clinical strategies to enhance patient care quality and hospital performance.
- Work closely with doctors and clinical teams, including attending meetings or activities that may occur outside standard business hours.
- Contribute to strengthening quality care and risk management systems within the hospital.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital management, preferably in roles such as Medical Manager or Medical Coordinator.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations, medical workflows, and healthcare management.
- Proven experience in quality care, risk management, and compliance within a hospital setting.
- Previous experience collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Ability to generate strategic ideas and support the implementation of operational and clinical improvements.
- Comfortable working extended or irregular hours as needed to support clinical operations and doctor engagements.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to speak and present in English confidently.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
