Our respected client is seeking a skilled Disputes/Litigation Specialist with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling disputes and litigation matters, with a preference for experience in consumer disputes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the resolution of complex legal issues.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of disputes and litigation matters, including but not limited to consumer disputes.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external counsel as necessary and assist in the preparation of litigation strategies.
- Participate in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to disputes and litigation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
- 3 to 6 years of experience in disputes/litigation, preferably with exposure to consumer disputes.
- Experience in private practice or in-house legal departments is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
