Monroe Consulting Group is partnering with a leading multinational organization in the industrial and infrastructure solutions sector to identify a Business Development - Data Center professional. This strategic role will drive growth in the rapidly expanding data center market by delivering technically robust, compliant, and commercially competitive infrastructure solutions.

Role Overview

The Business Development - Data Center role is responsible for accelerating growth within the data center segment by leveraging strong technical, commercial, and industry expertise. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, developing tailored solutions using a comprehensive cable and connectivity technology portfolio, and positioning the company as a trusted partner in data center infrastructure development.
This position works closely with sales, technical, marketing teams, and strategic partners to expand market share and ensure long-term success in the data center ecosystem. All activities must be conducted in full compliance with corporate business principles, including anti-corruption, fair competition, and ethical conduct.

Key Responsibilities



Operational & Technical

  • Provide in-depth technical and commercial expertise to support sales teams during customer engagements, ensuring solutions are tailored to client needs and improving win rates.
  • Monitor and support ongoing projects to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and high customer satisfaction, strengthening long-term client relationships.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop data center-specific campaigns, tools, and value propositions that generate qualified leads and enhance brand visibility.
  • Partner with technical teams to validate and continuously improve solution competitiveness, ensuring compliance with industry standards, performance requirements, and sustainability goals.
  • Gather, analyze, and share customer and competitor insights to support strategic decision-making and optimize product-market fit.


Commercial

  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities within the data center segment to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data center trends, standards, and infrastructure solutions, positioning the company as a trusted advisor in the market.
  • Support the Head of Business Development in achieving order intake, margin, and profitability targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with data center operators, consultants, EPCs, contractors, and technology partners to secure long-term partnerships and repeat business.
  • Contribute to pricing strategies, proposals, and contract negotiations to ensure competitive and profitable offerings.


Secondary Responsibilities

  • Conduct presentations, workshops, and technical training sessions for internal teams and customers to strengthen technical credibility and accelerate solution adoption.
  • Provide market intelligence, forecasts, and insights to support strategic planning and investment decisions for the data center segment.
  • Perform other assigned tasks within scope to support business agility and organizational effectiveness.
