Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a growing digital bank which serves as a bridge between traditional banking and digital finance. Our respective client is looking for Chief Finance Officer who will oversee the finance landscape of the organization. This is a Full Onsite role based in , BGC, Taguig City, Philippines.

Job Summary:

The Chief Finance Officer will be responsible for the financial health of the organization to promote success and growth while maintaining legal financial practices. They are expected to accomplish or create financial reports, direct investment activities, and develop plans for the long-term financial goals of their organization.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Play an integral part by contributing to the development and refinement of the Company's growth and vision strategies and increase profit through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures, and regulations such as tax filing and financial reporting.
  • Oversee the operations and development of the company's finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
  • Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor, and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
  • Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company's status and financial forecasts.
  • Oversee end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up.
  • Handle any other duties, consistent with the role, or duties as required from time to time by the Executive or Management Team.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the BOD and CEO.

Key job requirements include:

  • Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant
  • Must have least ten (10) years of experience
  • Industry exposure in Financial Services, Fintech, Banking Space
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
