Clinical Sales Specialist for Mindanao

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting a Clinical Sales Specialist-Mindanao on behalf of a multinational medical device company specializing diabetes care. The role will be responsible in developing and executing business plans, including market analysis, pricing models, and sales proposals, to drive growth and identify opportunities in the assigned area.

Job responsibilities:

1. Formulate and executes business plans for the assigned area

  • Performs market analytics that includes defining market trends, competitor activities, customer trends and identifying market opportunities and threats. Formulate and executes business plan for the assigned area which includes hospital coverage, itinerary planning, potential mapping, and sales/marketing tactics. Formulate pricing models and sales proposals for account development and expansion.

2. Key Account Management

  • Spearheads account penetration strategy - identify key hospital personnel and critical links to install, develop and expand the company's portfolio.
  • Ensure implementation of high quality "In-service" programs in Key Accounts to position the company as a leader in promoting Best medical practices.
  • Address customer complaints, issues and mitigate risks with the account.

3. Key Opinion Leaders

  • The Clinical Specialists will identify and build relations with key opinion leaders of the Diabetes Care business in his/her area.
  • Will liaise with leaders of key professional organizations to enhance company's image and standing in the industry.

4. Business Performance

  • Responsible for meeting annual business growth
  • Track in-market performance.
  • Make regular update on account penetration/development milestones per specialist.
  • Maintain accurate record of sales, prospecting activities, sales calls/presentations, and other tasks performed by specialists.

5. Distributor Coordination

  • Ensure that we work well with our existing distributors and support them in demand creation (wherever agreed); that distributor sales teams (if focused on demand creation) are suitably trained, motivated and rewarded for growing the company's business.

6. Special Projects

  • Deliver milestones of projects that might be assigned by Business Leader or Regional Management

7. People

  • Leads the prime merchandizers team in area.
  • Understand areas of improvement for distributor representatives, provides coaching, and immediate feedback when appropriate.
  • Motivates distributor representatives and merchandizers in achieving/exceeding objectives.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing/Pharmacy/MedTech or other related Medical fields
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in actual clinical settings and/or applications within the medical device sector (diabetes)
  • Proven experience of education and teaching using simulation and workshop approaches. Experience of developing and delivering teaching presentations to a group of health care professionals.
  • Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills to develop effective reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Working setup is mainly field work; Must be willing travel
  • Preferably residing in Davao
