Job Responsibilities:
- Provide solutions and design for Life/Asia application in order to achieve delivery excellence.
- Analyze root causes, assess impact and provide solution, and data correction.
- Provide data extraction and query reporting services.
- Knowledge interfaces of Life/Asia application with different front end applications through Business Objects and MQ .
- Read and trace precedent the logic with SMART/400 programming, Cobol and Life/Asia.
- Understanding of various modules of Life/Asia application from New Business, Receipting, Payment, Policy Alteration, Policy Services, Loan, Lapse Rein, Fund Switch, Surrenders, Partial Surrenders, Claims, Fully Paid, Maturity, Bonus allowance, Universal Life Deal, Universal Life Interest Dealing, Net Due Financial, Commission, Compensation, Agent Persistency
Job Requirements:
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience on SMART/400 COBOL and preferably on Life/Asia application.
- At least: LOMA 280/290 certificate and 3 years working in an insurance company, with mastery of the entire contract insurance life cycle (New Business, Receipting, Payment, Policy Alteration, Policy Services, Loan, Fund Switch, Surrenders, Claims, Fully Paid, Maturity, Bonus allowance, Universal Life Deal, Universal Life Interest Dealing, Net Due Financial, Commission, Agent Structure)
- Fluency in Speaking and Writing English. (Vietnamese only)
- Hands on experience on Business Objects, Day End Batch and Month-End Batch processing.
- Good team player, Good analytical, Proactive thinking, Adaptability, Eagerness to learn new things.
