As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10 years' experience in agrochemical in multinational company for the job of Commercial Manager Agrochemical - Indonesia. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Direct report to the Head of Sales APAC
- Identify products with potential, map the value chain
- Conduct market research on customers, farmers and competitors
- Support the definition of Sales Channels to achieve rapid growth
- Identify key accounts to support and nurture
- Budgeting and Planning on yearly cycle
- Manage current customers, identify and acquire new customers
- Create pricing, promotional material, and distribution channels
- Promote products and services via networking, specialized press and tradeshows.
- Negotiating of sales contracts
- Travel to fields to understand farmer/applicator challenges and expectations
- Provide directly or with support of colleagues agronomic/application expertise or technical assistance from remote labs for new formulations
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Agriculture or Agrochemical
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in related functions and industries, preferably in agrochemical business
- High integrity, honesty, and ethical standards
- Fluent English communication; spoken and written
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite and social network platforms
- Interest in complex data analysis
- Strong communicator
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated and eager to expand competences and grow
- Creative problem solver
