Country Head

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a digital and technology company that is making the technology more affordable and sustainable. Our respected client is seeking a Country Head who will manage the country's P&L, develop business strategies, drive sales, and ensure operational efficiency. The role will report to the CEO with hybrid work arrangement in BGC, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Manage Country P&L, revenue, gross profit, and Country EBITDA.
  • Collaborate with other regions, entities, and business units to achieve healthy Group EBITDA.
  • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise business improvement solutions.
  • Handle the annual budget and produce detailed annual business operating plans, including monthly, quarterly, or annual targets for revenue, profits, cash, and cost management.

Business Strategy Management:

  • Develop high-quality business strategies and plans aligned with short-term and long-term objectives, including end-to-end management of product offerings.
  • Make high-quality business decisions to advance the business and increase profits.
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences to provide solutions for company survival and growth.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Maintain deep knowledge of the markets and industry.
  • Produce business performance reports on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Build strong relationships necessary for future business opportunities.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders; act as a point of contact for important shareholders.
  • Communicate effectively across the organization and with external stakeholders


Business Operations Management:

  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure desired results are achieved and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain legality and business ethics.
  • Oversee the overall end-to-end business process lifecycle value chain, identifying areas for improvement to maximize business performance and productivity.
  • Oversee supply chain and production functions, ensuring minimal human errors, process issues, and inventory discrepancies.

People Management:

  • Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement and develop a highperforming team.
  • Manage staff retention and turnover; recruit and manage staff, including performance monitoring, mentoring, coaching, and training

Job Requirements:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years in leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Accountancy, Finance or other relevant degree.
  • Proven experience in managing Country P&L and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with the pre-owned technology market and trading rates.
  • Strong network in the phones and handset market.
  • Natural leadership abilities in building, leading, and inspiring teams.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial and operational data, and prepare business reports, projections, and recommendations.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of company employees.
