Monroe Consulting Group is representing an international data center operator in the search for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer specializing in electrical design for data center facilities. The position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and requires a high level of mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end development of both greenfield and brownfield data center projects.
Provide technical support for renovation initiatives and the integration of new services within existing data halls.
Spearhead and work closely with cross-functional project teams to develop conceptual design solutions.
Prepare comprehensive prospectus and technical documentation for proposed design concepts.
Manage and coordinate with appointed lead design consultants to ensure all designs and documentation meet required standards for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
Follow established procedures and obtain necessary internal and external approvals.
Introduce and refine processes to enhance overall project execution and efficiency where required.
Ensure all project documentation remains accurate and up to date.
Identify and resolve technical design challenges and site-related issues.
Conduct thorough reviews of multi-disciplinary engineering designs, with particular emphasis on electrical systems integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering consultancy and/or electrical infrastructure construction.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification or Chartered Engineer status is a strong advantage.
Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex projects involving multi-disciplinary teams.
Strong organizational and leadership capabilities, including effective delegation, supervision, and quality control.
Confident and professional demeanor with experience engaging directly with clients.
Proactive, adaptable, and equipped with strong communication skills.
