Financial Planning and Analysis Officer

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, is recruiting on behalf of the No. 1 Aesthetic Clinic in the Philippines. Our respected client is seeking an FP&A Officer. The FP&A Officer will support in the company's planning and analysis process. The FP & A officer will work closely with various departments to articulate the group's performance narrative, deliver actionable financial analysis, and develop reporting that strengthens business performance monitoring. This is a full-time onsite role based in Pasig - Ortigas.

Job Summary

The Financial Planning and Analysis Officer supports the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities. This role works closely with the FP&A Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial insights, strengthen performance monitoring, and support data-driven business decisions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Perform variance analysis by comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Support the evaluation of financial assumptions and key business drivers.

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and analysis highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
  • Assist in developing standardized financial reporting packages for management review.
  • Analyze financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather financial inputs for budgeting and forecasting requirements.
  • Provide financial support in evaluating business initiatives, cost-saving measures, and investment proposals.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across reports.

Strategic & Operational Support

  • Support the FP&A Manager in strategic projects by providing financial analysis on profitability, cost management, and resource utilization.
  • Assist in capital expenditure reviews and financial feasibility studies.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and data quality.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/CMA or MBA is an advantage but not required.
  • 4-6 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in Financial Planning & Analysis or commercial finance; experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems such as MS Dynamics 365 is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and large data sets is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
