Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia, an executive search firm, is assisting a prominent property development company renowned for its expertise in constructing superblocks, office buildings, and shopping malls. Our client is currently seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Head of Security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical security, safety protocols, team leadership, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), with regular reviews and updates for a large-scale property complex.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the security team, including shift scheduling, patrolling, surveillance, and reporting.
- Ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of all security infrastructure such as CCTV systems, access controls, alarm systems, and emergency communication devices.
- Direct emergency responses and handle crisis events including fire, theft, natural disasters, and other security-related threats.
- Conduct periodic risk evaluations and internal security audits to detect and address potential vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with local authorities such as police, fire departments, and emergency responders.
- Guarantee adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal company policies related to security.
- Oversee the hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions for all security staff.
- Compile and present incident reports, monthly summaries, and analytical assessments to senior leadership.
- Manage the security budget, including expenditures for personnel, systems, and routine maintenance.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in security management, ideally within a complex or mixed-use property setting.
- Demonstrated leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of physical security measures, safety standards, and emergency protocols.
- Familiarity with the operation of advanced surveillance and security systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Capable of maintaining composure and making quick decisions in critical situations.
- Possession of relevant certifications such as Gada Utama/Satpam (preferred).
- A background in military or law enforcement is an added advantage.
- Flexible availability, including readiness to work on-call or during weekends and holidays.
- Good physical condition to conduct on-site inspections and respond to emergencies as required.
