Our highly respected client is seeking a multi-faceted HR Manager well-versed in all areas of human resources. The job is currently on a temporary WFH Set up and is based in BGC, Taguig City, Philippines.

Job summary:

The Human Resources Manager helps Top Management build and maintain good employee morale and a positive work environment within the institution.

From talent acquisition, employee engagement to compensation & benefits, government compliance, learning and development and organizational development, the HR department helps ensure that employees and teams are capable of coping with the growing demands of the institution and the industry.

The position requires the following competencies: (1) motivational management, (2) effective communication, (3) strategic planning and organization, (4) project implementation and management, (5) budgeting, (6) event planning and management, (7) knowledge in learning and development, and (8) a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Talent Acquisition

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for talent acquisition and onboard a team of competent, professional and highly efficient workforce

  • Compensation and Benefits

Develop and implement a competitive compensation and benefits program for the institution to retain talents and motivate them to perform better.

  • Employee Welfare & Engagement

Develop and implement employee welfare and engagement programs that are relevant to the times and aligned with institutional plans and directions.

  • Employee Discipline

Develop and implement discipline programs to maintain a professional working environment and a culture of excellence and discipline.

  • Performance Management

Develop and implement performance management systems such as but not limited to employee performance appraisal and employee rewards and recognition.

  • OD & Learning & Development

Assist top management with organizational development to ensure clear working structure and relationships among teams, business centers and institutional partners, and capability-building programs to help employees and teams respond to the evolving needs of the institution and the industry.

  • Government Compliance

Ensure timely and consistent compliance of the institution with all regulatory policies and reports required by DOLE and other regulatory bodies.

  • HR Systems, Policies & Procedures

Ensure the consistent review, update, maintenance and management of employee and department systems, policies and procedures, records, materials and facilities to promote productivity and efficiency in the office and in the delivery of HR services.

Key job requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration or related field. HR Certification preferred
  • With at least 5 years experience in HR management/leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Consistent record of integrity in previous work
  • Demonstrated experience with managing employee benefit programs
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Strong strategic planning, management and problem solving skills
  • With firm understanding of payroll process, compensation plans and benefit administration
