Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a professional online gaming company in the country.

Job Summary:
Our respective client is looking for Technical Support Specialists with proficiency in the Mandarin language for the job of IT Operations Engineer [Mandarin Speaker].

The IT Operations Engineer [Mandarin Speaker] will ensure that all client concerns are well taken care of. The job is in BGC, Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines and has an onsite working arrangement.


  • Respond to on-call incidents that impact website availability and provide support to resolve the issue.
  • Responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing core infrastructure that enables scaling to support multiple concurrent users.
  • Cooperate with DevOps to complete website system deployment, upgrade and rollback.
  • Monitor the traffic of the website, analyse and track the logs of website users' visits, and formulate a plan for optimization.
  • Responsible on dealing with emergencies such as server downtime, virus infection, hacker intrusion.
  • Document issues to analyse for rooms of improvement such as automation.
  • Build monitoring alerts on symptoms to prevent outages.
  • Plan the growth of infrastructure.


  • Graduate of computer science major in information technology.
  • 2 years or more relevant experience in IT Operations, Helpdesk support (L1 or L2).
  • Proficient in Linux operating system setup, configuration and maintenance, network security monitoring, system performance management and debugging, network performance management.
  • Have basic network knowledge, such as TCP protocol, HTTP, DNS, etc., Posses CCNA certification or better.
  • Familiar with mainstream products and suppliers in the CDN industry, have practical experience on using CDN and be able to deal with common CDN-related issues.
  • Experience in the application of network security systems such as firewall, intrusion prevention, VPN, etc.
  • Able to work independently, troubleshooting skills, teamwork, and sense of responsibility.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Can provide 7*24 hours of technical support and deal with emergency issues.
  • Can use GIT for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Familiar with automation tools such as Salt, Ansible, Jenkins
  • Must be fluent in both languages (Mandarin & English)
