Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a prime hospital in Negros. Our respected client is seeking a Medical Director who will plays a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients. This position requires a dynamic and experienced medical professional with strong leadership skills to lead the medical staff, implement best practices, and uphold regulatory standards. This role will be reporting directly to the CEO and will be assigned in Negros Occidental.

Key Job Responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the medical staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
  • Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the hospital, including patient care, admissions, and discharge processes, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with department heads and medical staff to develop and implement clinical protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety, quality improvement, and clinical outcomes through evidence-based practices and continuous monitoring of performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with the hospital administration and support services to ensure seamless integration of clinical and administrative functions, optimizing resources and workflows.
  • Serve as a liaison between the medical staff, administration, and governing board, communicating updates, addressing concerns, and facilitating collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
  • Participate in recruitment, credentialing, and performance evaluation of medical staff members, ensuring that all practitioners meet licensure and accreditation requirements.
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance in the development and implementation of new programs, services, and technologies to meet the evolving needs of the community and enhance the hospital's competitiveness.
  • Stay current with developments in healthcare policies, regulations, and best practices, and ensure compliance with local, national, and international standards.
  • Represent the hospital in professional associations, community events, and collaborative partnerships to promote the hospital's mission, vision, and values.


Key Job Qualifications include:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution; board certification in a specialty field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare management principles, clinical operations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, quality improvement methodologies, and clinical informatics.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and ethical conduct.
  • Valid medical license and registration to practice in the Philippines.
