QA Manager (Manufacturing)

Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, an executive recruitment firm, is representing a client that produces 100% certified organic, all-natural, non-GMO organic products. They are actively looking for a QA Manager who has 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally with an extensive background in a food manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate should be proficient in addressing both customer and technical issues, as well as managing staff. This position is in Davao and offers a flexible work schedule from Monday to Saturday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Job Summary:

The QA Manager is dedicated to maintaining the high quality of our products, focusing on the long-term success of our business. This role involves overseeing and upholding high standards in production, examining processes and outcomes, and managing staff.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Develop, implement, and refine the company's quality standards.
  • Create protocols for inspecting and reporting on product quality issues.
  • Achieve quality assurance goals by monitoring, evaluating, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Confirm the effectiveness of quality processes by establishing specifications for products and raw materials.
  • Oversee operations that impact quality and analyze data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage, train, motivate, coach, and correct staff to meet quality standards.
  • Ensure consistent and reliable production by verifying processes and final products.
  • Understand and fulfill customer requirements to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Manage financial objectives by estimating needs, preparing an annual budget, and planning expenses.
  • Communicate any malfunctions to relevant teams to prompt corrective actions.
  • Drive proactive solutions by gathering and analyzing quality data.
  • Sustain and enhance quality through conducting product, company, system, and compliance audits.
  • Evaluate and suggest enhancements to current standards and policies.
  • Comply with all legal standards.
  • Develop strategies to boost productivity.
  • Maintain comprehensive quality documentation and reports by compiling, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

Must be a graduate of a bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Food Technology or a relevant field.
Requires 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the corresponding field.
Must have proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or relevant role
Must be coming from a Food manufacturing company
Must have experience in dealing with customer and technical issues.
Well-versed in handling customer requirements
Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
Outstanding communication skills
Great attention to detail and a result-driven approach
