Quality Manager (Automotive Parts Manufacturing), Rayong

Renowned for innovation, high quality standards, and long-standing partnerships with leading international automotive brands, our client is seeking a strategic Quality Manager to lead their quality operations and supply chain excellence. This position is based in Rayong, Thailand.

The Quality Manager will lead the strategic development and execution of the company's quality control systems across the entire supply chain. This role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence through Lean, TQM, and Six Sigma, overseeing cross-functional projects and complex supplier relationships. You will have high decision-making authority to ensure the highest product standards and customer satisfaction for a global automotive leader.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's overall quality strategy by building a robust control system across the entire supply chain to ensure full alignment with global business objectives.

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) while ensuring strict compliance with IATF 16949 standards and overseeing all internal audit plans.

  • Optimize supplier management systems by leading audits, monitoring performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest level of raw material consistency.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and TQM to enhance process efficiency and proactively mitigate potential quality risks across the organization.

  • Proactively manage major customer complaints and monitor quality KPIs to ensure high-level service and product reliability for international automotive partners.

Job Requirements

  • Academic background in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical field.

  • Extensive experience in quality management, specifically within a multinational corporation in the automotive industry.

  • Professional expertise and hands-on experience in implementing IATF 16949 standards and core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.

  • Proactive and self-motivated mindset with creative problem-solving skills and a focus on long-term results.

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with proficiency in Chinese considered a significant advantage.
