Award winning Executive recruitment company, Monroe Consulting Group is partnering with a global advanced technology manufacturer to appoint a Regional Facilities Director to oversee large-scale manufacturing operations in Thailand. This is a senior leadership role within a global operations organization, offering the opportunity to drive best-in-class facilities performance in a highly technical, high-volume production environment.
This Regional Facilities Director will oversee all aspects of facilities engineering, site operations, and capital investments across large-scale manufacturing environments, ensuring critical infrastructure performs reliably in a 24/7 setting while enabling growth, efficiency, and sustainability. This job is based in Chonburi, Thailand.
Job Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for facilities operations and infrastructure planning, ensuring reliable performance to support continuous manufacturing in a 24/7 environment.
Direct the delivery of capital projects, including site expansions, new developments, and facility upgrades, from initial design through to completion.
Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams, fostering a high-performance culture and long-term capability building.
Establish and execute long-range facilities strategies, including master planning, capacity assessments, and infrastructure readiness aligned with business growth.
Oversee financial management of facilities, including budgeting, cost optimization, and evaluation of capital investments and returns.
Champion sustainability, energy efficiency, and operational excellence initiatives across all site operations.
Ensure full adherence to health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations, maintaining the highest compliance standards.
Manage external partners, contractors, and suppliers, including tender processes, selection, and performance oversight.
Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and compliance.
Ensure reliability and performance of critical facility systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, process water systems (UPW/PCW), compressed air, industrial gases, and fire/life safety systems.
Job Requirements
Significant experience in facilities management within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale industrial operations and capital projects.
Proven ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams.
Strong technical expertise in complex facilities systems and infrastructure.
Experience in capacity planning, gap analysis, and long-term infrastructure strategy development.
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, permitting processes, and compliance standards.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and investment evaluation.
Proficiency in CMMS, Microsoft Excel, MS Project, and related systems/tools.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
